The Jubilee Schools has added a specialist computer digital suite to add to their facilities. This latest addition has become an integral and fundamental resource to the department and its pupils.

Computers and digital photography are used to facilitate and develop ideas throughout all disciplines. There are two distinct approaches to using this technology: the first is in picture-making, through manipulation and invention. The second is to assist research in the context of Journal and History of Art studies. This is an important aspect of the examination curriculum.

All of the five studios in the Drawing Schools are equipped with computers, scanners, digital cameras and printers. The computer digital suite contains a mixture of Apple Macs, PCs and peripherals linked to a colour laser printer. The department has also access to an A3-scanner, slide-scanner and a large-format printer, which all provide valuable options for projects.
